The memory setting on your Philips hair clipper allows you to save 3 lengths for each comb. Make sure that you use the comb with your desired length setting.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the memory work on my Philips hair clipper?
How it works:
The hair clippers come with 3 combs (1-7 mm, 7-24 mm or 24-42 mm).
The memory automatically detects the comb by its length settings and allows you to only select that particular length.
How to save a setting:
1) Swipe upwards or downwards to select the desired length setting.
2) To enter the memory, press the ‘M’ button for 2 seconds. Number 1 starts to flash.
Note: If you want to save a length setting as number 2 or 3 in the memory, press the ‘M’ button again (once for number 2 and twice for number 3).
3) To save a length setting as number 1, 2 or 3, press the ‘M’ button for 2 seconds.
4) The display shows the word ‘SET’ when the length setting is correctly saved. Memory setting number 1, 2 or 3 lights up continuously.
