Rated 1 out of 5 by Claire Chopper/blender attachments dont work
As others have said the chopper blender attachments don't work. I used mine once each and now all they chop is air. Have rung for replacement as it is still under but getting the run around. Poor product and poor customer service.

Had this for over a year, so out of warranty. Large chopper has failed....looks like splines have worn, though used at most one per week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Doggy Hardly used and broken already
We have used it three times successfully with the bigger chopper/blender attachment. Now the blades will not engage (only ever used for cabbage and onion).
To make it worse, the smaller blender attachment has exactly the same problem and it has never been used.
The small metal shaft which engages to the motor unit has splines on it (indeed, very small splines) and these seem to fail to engage with the plastic pieces which driver the blades.
So, there seems to be a fundamental weakness with the blender attachments. Very poorly designed and no way that they are going to last very long.
This thing is a huge disappointment.

The Promix is well made, easy to use and clean and comes with everything you need. Overall it is a well designed product which enables you to do plenty of things in the kitchen with ease. Thank you Philips for a device which does what it is described as being able to do.

Hand blender works well and still performs as expected, I use it on an almost daily basis and couldnt be happier with it.
Both choppers and whisk which I used much less frequently are all broken.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Valh Easy to use but did not last
Purchased end December, broken by 3 February. Used at most 6 times! Far too flimsy even for domestic use even though sales person insisted she had been using this model for a couple of years.
So back to the trusty German model!

Rated 2 out of 5 by NakedChef Power Cable Too Short! Only 2 Blades!
Well presented. Large box. Durable design. However, after a few weeks of use I have found that my previous (and older) 3 bladed hand blender is much more efficient (and only 700 watts) at blending nuts, herbs, fruit and veg.
The unit is solid and light weight but maneuvering it with a tight cord (due to the power cord being to short) is frustrating! :P
I think one large (XL) herb chopper would have been good enough, one small AND one large is excessive.
Also one other frustration is the beaker is only 1.2 L, 200-300ML smaller than my previous 2 y.o. Sunbeam.
