Worth a Try!This bottle came with a level 2 flow nipple and for my baby girl that flow is still to fast for her to be able to drink comfortably.
She had a little setback at birth and the lactation consultant recommended a premie nipple to slow the flow of bottle milk to more closely mimic the flow of breast milk.
That said, we didn’t try for more than 1 feeding with this bottle as it caused her to gag.
She did however, take to the nipple shape with ease — and it’s quite different from the Dr. Brown we’ve been used too.
I love that it’s BPA Free and the shape mimics a natural breast.
I think when she is more advanced she will enjoy this bottle.
Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing me to try this bottle in exchange for my review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Love this bottleI received the Phillips advent natural baby bottle from the weeSpring parent panel. I had initially trialed this bottle when my daughter was around 4 months which seemed to be too soon because she drank it way too fast and was spitting up a lot. I put the bottle away for about a month and decided to try it again, and I am really glad I did. The flow must have just been to fast and now that my daughter is older and stronger this bottle has been great. No more spitting up and she can easily hold the bottle on her own. The bottle is extremely easy to clean with the removable nipple piece so mold collecting in it has never an issue. I will definitely be buying more of these and recommending them to others [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not for newbornsThe nipples are too big for newborns mouths. I have twin boys and they have trouble latching on and making a seal on these. I like the idea of anti colic, but feel that they should have info about the nipple size. My boys were 6 pounds when born and we really wanted to use these bottles but can't. Most of the milk ends up all over the boys and on their clothes not in their tummies. Definately better for older babies.

Horrible leaksIf your baby is not breastfed or has not breastfed do not use these bottles. My baby had problems latching so he would just make a mess with these bottles while eating. They also leak so much and if you don’t position the air vent on nipple and cap facing the ceiling it leaks. The flow is wayyy too fast on these on anything past the number 1 nipples.

This product is the worst!I bought this bottle thinking it would be the perfect one since, my baby grew out of her usual bottle comotomo. This bottle leaks when she is drinking her bottle. Half of her milk goes to waste it has been the worst purchase! I would not even want it for free extremely disappointed and annoyed! -Gloria

Great for Breastfed babies! When we received the product it was clean and well packaged. The bottle came with a large variety of flows, and strengths so that older babies wouldn't bite through it,and younger babies who were breast feeding wouldn't get nipple confusion- handy! My daughter used to use the Avent Nipples when she was a baby and she was a professional at it. My infant son has been refusing bottles as of late, but before his strike these were the only bottle he would use. We tried with the different levels, and he didn't seem to want any of them. When used, my children never have issues with gas or colic, and actually seem easier to burpl. Really the only con to bottles in general is that you are supposed to boil them after each use, and what mom really has time for that? Overall I would definitely recommend them. The shape and size are perfect, and they are the best choice for breastfed babies! Hopefully my son will get over his boobs-only policy soon.
* I received this product free as part of the weespring parent panel, but the opinions I expressed are all mine, and 100 percent honest [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Baby and Mommy Approved!I was given this bottle to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My baby is 3 months old. She has been using bottles since birth as it took time for my milk to come in. We give her one bottle of breast milk every evening so my husband can have an opportunity to feed her. She is a very gassy baby and spits up a lot. We have tried a half dozen brands of bottles. We prefer bottles that pace how fast she is feeding and prevent her from swallowing excess air. The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle met these requirements. We used the bottles with the preemie size 0 nipples. She was able to take 4oz from this bottle in about 20 minutes. With other bottles, we noticed that she would dribble milk out of the corners of her mouth and seemed to choke on the milk. With the size 0 nipple, we didn't have ANY dribbling. I think the Dr. Brown's bottles do a little bit better in terms our preventing swallowed air (I'd give them an A+ for this), but the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle did a pretty good job (I'd give them an A- for this). The anti-colic vent does work. I really like the shape of the bottle. It is easy for me to hold with small hands. My husband who has giant hands has no problem either. Once you know how to assemble the bottle it is easy. The first two times I used the bottle I didn't realize you had to pull the nipple through the ring up to a ridge on the nipple. As a result we had leakage around the ring. But, given that it was assembled incorrectly, it still did a great job :)! My husband has noticed a trade off between how tight the ring needs to be screwed on and how well the anti-colic vent works. He feels like the ring needs to be loose enough to let air out, but not loose enough to leak. I like how wide the mouth of the bottle is. This makes cleaning the bottle easier. The nipple is easy to clean if it hasn't been sitting around for a while. Sometimes my husband leaves the overnight bottle out until the next day and getting the fat out of the grooves in the nipple becomes a bit of a chore. No bottle is perfect, but I'd definitely buy this bottle to use in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
