How do I clean my Philips SmartSleep Headband?

    Published on 2021-12-29
Follow the instructions below on how to clean your Philips SmartSleep Headband.

    Cleaning instructions

Ensure the device is turned off and is not connected to the USB cable and charger before cleaning. Do not submerge the electronic enclosure part into water. It is recommended to clean the headband once a week. It is important to clean the forehead sensor routinely as it contacts your skin and you may have skin oil or sweat covering the sensor. Routine cleaning will allow better sensor connection.

    To clean the forehead sensor:
    a. Detach the forehead sensor from the band and submerge it into a solution of washing-up liquid and water.
    b. Use a soft bristled brush to clean the surface gently.
    c. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry.

    To clean the headband:
    a. Use pre-moistened facial/makeup remover towelettes to wipe the inner lining of the headband.
    b. Use a soft bristled brush to clean the surface gently if needed.
    c. Allow it to air dry.

Note: Do not place fabric parts into a washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer or clothes dryer. Do not submerge the whole headband in water, as the electrical components may be damaged.
