Yes. The petal massage cushion is given a softer texture to make expressing milk as comfortable as possible for you. It does not alter the way in which the breast pump works.

Note:
Read the User Manual before use and make sure that you firmly place the petal massage cushion on the breast pump so that it does not leak air.
If you still feel the cushion is not working well for you, consider using a large cushion if you have larger nipples, or ordering a new cushion on the Philips webstore
