i have lost the receipt so now i do not know if it is under warranty but it has just stopped working one day i used it and now its broken I've tried charging it and holding the button down but none of the lights react. this is ridiculous, shocking product to stop working after such a short period

I was happy with the product until I decided to use it as wet epilator. First time it worked Ok. Second time the light wouldn't go off and I had difficulty turning it off and on. When I tried to charge it several days later the charge light came on briefly and then unable to charge. It was 8 weeks out of warranty.

After 1 year it stopped working after I rinsed it. I don't use any epilator during shower or in the bath but I rinse it to clean. Because it was within the warranty I received another one. The same thing happen after 1.5 years. Waste of money. Phillips should not say that this product is waterproof because it is not!

Firstly the user manual is inadequate in that it assumes that you understand the initial set up of the device. Having to use a screwdriver to remove the rechargeable batteries is cumbersome, particularly as it requires a non standard size implement. For these reasons I do not intend to keep the product will return it for a full refund.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tosh Failed after a year due to poor design / failed waterproof seal
My HP6581/00 epilator worked great for what it was designed to do. Yes, it was painful but that's normal for these things.
However it was ultimately let down (and let me down, and wasted my money) when it suddenly started running for no reason and not turning off. My partner dismantled it to find that moisture had gotten into the epilator, causing corrosion to the circuit board and damage to the battery. The unit is probably out of warranty and not fixable, so it's cost quite a lot of money just to fail out of warranty through poor design.

This is the first epilator I've ever tried and it definitely made my first experience a great one! After about 10-15 minutes of trying to psych myself up, I finally went for it!
I'm not usually impressed this much but boy do I love this product!

Good quality product that is so easy to use and does not hurt. But as everyone's pain threshold is different this may not be the case. Loved that it came with the precision epilator except I still prefer to use the main epilator as it pulls the hairs out faster, more easily and does not hurt as much due to some vibration system.
Didn't like the light on the tweezers as it was so strong but I can definitely see how useful it can be.
Would definitely recommend this, was a great first epilator purchase!

I had trouble understanding the directions guide as there is no english directions only pictures which I did not fully understand.
The product is well made and designed only that I did not enjoy the experience of using it because my skin was irritated by the removal of the hair.
I found the process painful. Also developed many ingrown hairs each time. I now have a cream to help with ingrown hair.
I would love to get a better result. any Tips????
