Sturdy BottlesI have been using theses bottles for my daughter, who just turned 3 months old. We have been using the Avent Natural plastic bottles to supplement breastfeeding. These are the first glass bottles we have used. I like that the nipples mimic breastfeeding. These come with slow flow (#1) nipples, which is what we started using at two months. I was worried that glass bottles might break easily, but these have held up to being dropped on the floor and through many washings by hand and in the dishwasher. The only issue Inhave with this size is that if you mix 4 oz of formula in the bottle, it is filled to the top and the powder can get stuck in the nipple, but it works great with breast milk or premixed formula. If you decide to use glass bottles, I highly recommend these bottles. Thanks to the WeeSpring panel for letting me try these bottles for free in exchange for my honest review.

New Love for Glass!I have these same baby bottles in plastic and hands down the glass ones are the best! I love how easy they are to clean. Warming them up is a breeze too. I wish there was a silicone sleeve that came with them though. However, what I LOVE the most is that they fit my breastpump flanges. The bottles that came with the pump frustrate me because they fall over easily and precious milk spills out, but this is not the case with Philips Avent Natural glass baby bottles. The bottles are sturdy and I haven't had any spills :-) Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these and allowing me to try these bottles!

Best Bottle for BreastfeedingI was always hesitant to buy glass bottles. However, I will no longer buy the plastic. These Avent Glass Bottles are amazing. They even have an anti-colic system to help prevent air from going into the baby's tummy. The crying in pain caused by gas has been so much less since we started using the Avent Glass Bottles. I like that they are so clear and easy to fill. My husband loves them because they are "wide mouthed" so he can easily clean them and also because there's no formula powder spilled all over when he makes the bottle. The cleaning is actually so much easier too because the residue from the formula doesn't get stuck to the sides like on a plastic bottle. Since we are still breastfeeding, the natural nipple has been easy to switch to. My baby hasn't been latching correctly to the bottles we had on hand. She would "smack" which of course made her gassy. Having two older children that have used the same bottles I already had, I kept trying to reposition to correct her smacking but she just wouldn't latch right. Turns out, my little one has her own likes and latched right away to the Avent Natural Nipple with no smacking. I am highly recommending these to my mom friends! Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these Avent Glass Bottles.

Glass is better than plastic.I love these bottles and so does my baby. She's almost 3 months old. I prefer glass bottles over plastic, although they are a bit heavier. These bottles are simple, beautiful, and easy to use and clean. Thanks for sending them to us weeSpring Parent Panel. I'm a fan!

defective screw ring renders bottle uselessI have bought this bottle because I needed glass bottle, and I had great previous experience with plastic Avent bottles. I decided to take this one as it really looked like real top quality feeding bottle.
However, after couple of days use I noticed screw ring could not be tightened properly, and it started to fall off e.g. while I shake the baby food - a huge disappointment especially compared to plain plastic bottles Avent has.

Heavy glass, but great nippleWhen I first opened these bottles, I was surprised by how heavy the glass was. These are certainly sturdy, but heavier than the other glass bottles I use. I love how the curvy Philips Avent shape feels in my hand, but it's really difficult for paced bottle feeding. You have to tip the bottle really steeply to get the milk out at the end. On the other hand, I like the wide neck for cleaning, so that's probably the tradeoff. The dark, etched markings on the side of the bottle made it easy to measure formula and also see how much milk the baby consumed; however, the UK oz markings on the same panel as the US oz markings could be confusing, especially for tired parents. The best part of this bottle is the nipple. It requires the baby to have a nice open mouth and I can tell she latches to my breast better after we switched to these nipples. The secure fit in the ring also meant no leaks! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these bottles!

Everything I love about Avent Naturals, in GlassThanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these bottles to try!
I am already a user of the Avent Naturals line in plastic, so I was familiar with all the great anti-colic features this bottle offers. I have never before used glass bottles though, and I have been pleasantly surprised by how easy these are to use. There is really no difference between the plastic and glass in terms of features of ease of use. The glass bottles are slightly heavier, making it more of an issue to hold the bottle in place with your chin while doing other tasks :-)
I much prefer the glass for heating and sterilizing, as I think it provides a more even heat and sterile surface. The slight difference in weight does not matter to me, but it could get a little heavy to hold the bottle if you have a pokey eater. Overall, I think these are a great glass bottle choice, but if you don't worry about glass vs. plastic, I would prefer the plastic version of this bottle.

Don't waste your money on these...Don't waste you money on these glass bottles, buy the plastic ones instead. There is no way to control the leakage at the caps, and tightening them a bit further to prevent it only results in cross-tread damages or jammed caps. The last thing you want to happen prior to a 3 AM feeding session with twins, is for formula to spill everywhere when mixing it up, or when testing it for temperature. Very frustrating...
I wish I had invested into a plastic set instead of these.
