We wanted to share with you an important update regarding Philips DreamStation devices. Your Philips DreamStation device may have come with a 3G cellular modem. As of the 28th October, 2024, Australia's 3G mobile network will be shutting down. This means that your therapy data won't be transmitted automatically through the 3G network to your sleep therapy provider. The 3G cellular modem does not affect the operation of your DreamStation device, and you can continue using the DreamStation for sleep therapy without the 3G cellular modem. Following the 3G network shutdown, you may experience an error message on your device. You can clear this by removing the modem as per the steps below.
Step 2: Pull the 3G modem out and close the modem door
You can continue allowing your sleep therapy provider ongoing access to your data by leveraging the DreamStation’s Bluetooth© connectivity together with the Philips DreamMapper app. To learn how, click here > Want to stay updated on DreamStation 4G cellular modem availability and stockists?
