I,ve been looking for a good compact docking station for a while, and, this meets all my requirement,s.
It plays all my classical music with a good clarity,Brendle,s piano is one of my favourites,no upper registers are missed, each note is there.
i don,t like my music to loud( i.e; distortion) and the speakers handle this aspect all through their range(no distortion)
The docking station is well thought out, with a nice neoprene cover etc. i,ts easy to carry and use

Very Lightweight portable speaker
This product is really lightweight even with batteries in. It comes with a lightweight, but effective case which has protected the product on many trips in a rucksack with other heavier items.
It does drain batteries quickly, but not as fast as other portable speakers I have tried.
The sound is good quality even at higher volumes although it does not have the base quality some may want. The self contained stand although fiddly at times is a real life saver and works on uneven surfaces.
The only real downside is that the product has no remote so has to be operated via the small buttons on the top or via the ipod itself.

Big sound for a small device
Bought this as a speaker dock to keep in the kitchen and it serves that purpose very well. Weather it's using the Ipod as a wifi radio or playing straight from the music library this system does not disappoint.
However I am well aware of it's limitations at only 10w - but I didn't buy this as a main HiFi replacement so I wasn't expecting room filling volume that could annoy the neighbours! IT is surprisingly loud though, not even the washing machine and tumble drier together can compete with the volume.
At low volumes you can lessen the bass effect to make it sound clearer and at higher volumes everything was clear and I didn't have any rattling or distortion.
I've listened to a wide variety of music on mine: From the delicate harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel to the sonic assault of Dream Theater and it's been excellent throughout.
The only negative I can think of is that it insists on asking you to install a free app every time you plug your ipod in. After a while I just installed the app to shut it up. I used the app once and now but I've not used it since. It gives you a couple of things like a clock and a version of TuneIn radio to use (basically DAB radio over Wifi) but the original TuneIn app is better (you can save favourites on it).
I wont mark it down for the app though because it's only a tiny app to install and you don't need to use it to operate the device.

If only it worked it would be amazing!
If this product worked and was reliable then it would be exceptional. I love the richness in the quality of the sound, the portibility, and the ease of use. However(!), this product was a replacement for the earlier model which I had to return because after a few months it stopped connecting to my iPhone when put it on the mount. I was prepared to accept that it was just down to bad luck to get one that had a fault, but the replacement would not charge the phone. I had excellent/courteous customer service from the helpline who advised me that the recharging should kick in once the battery level had drained to 10%, but this proved not to be the case so I returned this one also, this time for a refund. So disappointed - it has the potentail to be a market leader.

For such a small speaker, this thing is a beast
When you first see the product with your own eyes, there will be no doubt in your mind that it's not going to be a good product, just the look of it tells you it means business and that it's going to deliver some quality sound waves too your ears.
Well, I can safely tell you that the sound it delivered blew my socks off into another dimension.
The docking station is either powered up between the supplied mains plug (comes with a UK & EU adapter), or by using four 'AA' batteries(not provided) which you can insert at the back of the dock by sliding the panel underneath the stand to the right-hand side.
I know these speakers are advertised as iPod docks, however it has an "MP3" slot at the back which you can connect too ANY audio device with a headphone slot by using the supplied double 3.5mm jack lead. I have actually connected my TV up to this speaker and I must say the quality was top-notch, playing games with the Sub boost flicked on was amazing.
The iPod docking port is pretty much compatible with every apple iPod device, be it the iPod touch, or from 1G all the way up to the most current 'G', you can also use your iPhone where it will then suggest you should download a certain application, but you don't actually need this so if you don't want to download it, just press "no"/"cancel", playing your songs through the dock will also charge your battery (I think this only happens when plugged into the mains, but is still convenient nevertheless).
Overall I cannot fault this product, it has to get top stars from me.
