My Philips HomeRun 9000 Series Vacuum and Wash Robot is not charging

When the robot returns to its station, it starts charging automatically. A white LED on the robot will flash slowly when the robot has started charging. If the robot is not charging, check the following: 

• Verify that you have connected the station to the wall socket and switched on the robot. 
• Ensure that the robot is correctly placed on the station. If the charging contacts are not aligned, your robot will not charge. Turn the robot to its correct position and put the robot on the floor in front of the station; the robot will drive to the correct position on the station. If the robot is out of battery, position the robot directly onto the charging contacts. 
• Check that the charging contact points on the robot and the station are not dirty. 
• Check that the robot is not stored in an area that is too hot or too cold. Charge and store the robot at a temperature between 8°C and 35°C. 
• The battery may need replacing. The minimum lifespan of the rechargeable battery is two years. 

Note: You can take the robot to a Philips service centre to remove and replace the rechargeable battery.
