My Philips Food processor has suddenly stopped working
Assemble the parts correctly
The overheat protection system has been triggered (Thermo cut-off)
Your Philips Food processor's overheat protection system (Thermo cut off) has been activated. This protects your appliance from overheating and may occur when processing ingredients that are too thick, or if the appliance is not used according to the instructions in the user manual.
To solve this:
- Switch the appliance off and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
- Remove part of the ingredients to reduce the weight.
- Let the appliance cool down for 20 minutes or until it reaches room temperature.
Plug your appliance into the plug socket and switch it on again.
Note: You may notice a certain odour, but do not worry, you can use your Philips Food processor normally.
