The front panel of my Philips Pasta Maker moves

    Published on 25 August 2023
It is normal for the front panel of your Philips Pasta Maker to move when you are making pasta. However, if it is moving too much read our article below.
If the dough is too wet or too dry, the Pasta Maker needs a higher force to knead the dough, which can cause the front panel to move.

In this case, discard the dough and start making the pasta again. Ensure that you follow the correct liquid-to-flour ratios as indicated in the User Manual. Use kitchen scales to accurately measure the liquid and flour.

Note: It is very important that the flour/liquid ratio is correct for the dough to have a crumbly consistency.

Before making pasta, ensure that you tighten both front panel knobs firmly by screwing them clockwise all the way to the stop.
