Series 1000 Air Humidifier bring 99% less bacteria

Water droplets can carry bacteria and spread it through the air. NanoCloud’s natural evaporation process produces an invisible mist of water molecules, so fine that it carries virtually no bacteria — with no wet spots or white mineral dust.

      Frequently asked questions

When should I replace my Philips Air Humidifier's filters?

Your Philips Air Humidifier is equipped with an alert that indicates when a filter needs to be replaced. You should replace the filters in your Series 1000 humidifier as soon as you see the alert.

Usually, you should replace the filter every three months. If the filter is still in good condition, you could use it for a longer period of time, but we strongly recommend that you replace your air humidifiers filter at least once a year.

How to check the humidity sensor of my Philips air Humidifier?

Your Philips Air Humidifier is equipped with a built-in humidity sensor. Please follow the steps below to check the humidity sensor:

Remove the cover of the air quality/humidity sensors of your Philips room humidifier and then gently blow moist air into the humidity sensor at the back of your humidifier (please see the image below).

After a few seconds, the "current humidity" indication of your humidifier should change in the centre of the control panel on the top of the device.

Note: If the initial "current humidity" indication of your air humidifier is already 60%, the indication cannot show an even higher humidity level when you blow moist air towards the sensor.

How do the red and blue indicator lights in my Philips Air Humidifier work?

Your air humidifier is equipped with a built-in humidity sensor. This sensor is connected to a humidity indicator light: the colour of this humidity indicator light shows whether the set target is reached or not.

Humidity indicator light: blue or red

When the desired humidity level is reached, the colour of the humidity indicator light is blue. When the humidity level is not reached, the colour of the humidity indicator light turns to red.

      Low water indicator light: red

There is a float (a floating ball) inside your Philips Small Humidifier tank. When the water level gets low, the float activates a water level switch and this will activate the red indicator light.

Note: sometimes, this floating ball can get stuck and fail to activate the water level switch. When this happens, your humidifier will not display a low water indicator. You can solve this by moving this ball with your hand.
