My Philips Kitchen Device cannot find my home Wi-Fi network

    Published on 19 February 2024
If your Philips Kitchen Device cannot find your Wi-Fi network, please find possible causes and solutions below.
This means that your Air Cooker or Airfryer is not connected to your home Wi-Fi anymore. You might have changed your home Wi-Fi network and need to set up your appliance again.

    Air Cooker:
Start the Wi-Fi set-up process by entering Tools → Settings → Wi-Fi Setup on your appliance and follow the on-screen instructions.

Make sure that your Airfryer is a connected model: HD9255, HD9280, HD9285, HD9880.

To start the pairing process, start the setup directly from the settings in the HomeID app or follow the steps as described below to start pairing with your Airfryer:

HD9255, HD9280, HD9285: long-press the temperature down button and follow the instructions in the app.

HD9880: go to Settings → Wi-Fi Settings → Wi-Fi Setup mode, then follow the instructions in the app.
Please try clicking the reload button to refresh the list or select "add manually" to manually enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.

If your network is still not listed, please unplug your Philips Kitchen Device and wait 15 seconds, then plug the appliance back in and try again. If your network still does not appear, please contact us for further assistance.
    The HD9255, HD9280, HD9285 and HD9880 Airfryers and the NX0960 Air Cooker are equipped with a Wi-Fi module 802.11 b/g/n with a 2.4 GHz band.

If your home Wi-Fi router is configured to a single 5 GHz band, try switching to dual-band network mode to enable the 2.4 GHz band. Then connect your smartphone to the 2.4 GHz network and follow the steps to set up your appliance.
