Philips FidelioSoundAvia wireless speaker

I bought these after I experienced the dreaded red LED of death on my DS9800W speakers, rendering them unusable and apparently unrepairable. Setup was relatively pain-free, and Airplay works well aside from very occasional drop-outs, which is to be expected, I guess The software is a bit dated and cumbersome, especially regarding firmware updates. For example, the link to update the firmware links to a "Page not found". Overall, I am very happy with the speaker

Havnt had issues with speaker. Was blown away with the sound on first use.. Crystal clear esp in important freq ranges so great across a broad range of music. I'm a audio engineer so very impressed.

Works great with iPhone 4S and iPad, but not with Apple TV. If Philips can resolve this, it would truly be a total fully compatible product to work with Apple AirPlay!

Very disappointed with how hard it was to setup. Have been waiting for months to buy a up grade speaker ,which I play mainly music on from iPod 5 or iPad 3 , and sometimes iTunes film. Which when the speaker is working on AirPlay sounds great fills the whole room and garden if I open the window. The sound is crisp and clear even at 80% max level. The problem is not the sound but airplay which means you have to reset the speaker every time you swap between pads . And you can't use the Internet , if on AirPlay playing music , which makes spotify a bit of a waste of time. Think that a Bluetooth add on would of given this product a high rating.

these speakers are a nightmare; after one-two minutes they always drop out and takes forever to join the network again. this is not a network problem since i have tried the speakers in multiple addresses with different modems and internet providers.
