Cineosdigital widescreen flat TV

Bought this TV in 2006 and nearly 12 years later it's still going strong. Great picture, amazing sound with forward facing speakers, easy to use remote.

But been a great tv still going strong years after and never will see it

Lovely clear sharp picture, sound is great, can be watched from the side easily, not to heavy for for such a large television. Only thing to suggest would be leads could be from the side rather than from the front in the middle.

Purchased in 2008, still functioning in 2024. Hands down the best TV I've ever had. Would by in a heart beat if it were available.

Hands down, this is the best TV ever. I'm disappointed they discontinued it.

This was the first HDTV that I ever bought. Today I am finally replacing it with a 65 inch Phillips TV. I truly hope that this TV is even remotely close to the first one. The Ambilight feature is incredibly awesome. Especially when it's on the dynamic mode in an action movie.

I have had this TV since around 2006. 14 years later I go to turn it on and I’m getting 6 red flashes. I’m assuming my precious tv has met its demise. Probably from yesterday’s storm. This is a very sad day for me. I have been tempted a few times by the 3D and 4K tvs that are out now but NONE of them have ambilight. This tv has survived multiple moves I just hate to see it go out like this. :-(

I've had this life altering piece of technological perfection since the very first year of public availability. It's 2020 now and this television works as good today if not better than the day I brought her home from the showroom floor. I just can not express myself to you adequately here & now, all of mortal mans means of communication fall short. In truth there was never a chance of even coming close to this Awesome Grand work of sublime Majesty . Fiat Ambi-Lux! In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (& Philips 42" Ambilight TV) Earth and the TV was good and formless and god hovering over the face of the 42 inch plasma screen Ambilight TV

This TV was a gift from my children as they knew I had wanted an Ambilight since I had seen the first advertisement on TV. I don't remember a day of disappointment while this TV worked. Thanks to a surge from Dixie Electric Co-op, I no longer have the pleasure of this gift hanging on my wall. I cried when the power was restored and I saw blue flashes of light on the wall behind the TV. It immediately began making a crackling noise from within the TV. I hope that if I replace the power control box inside the unit, it may be restored to the usual pleasing device that it once was prior to the accident.

The Ambilight feature is awesome. I will be looking for a similar feature in my next purchase
