Philips OneBlade is designed to provide simple, convenient shaving and trimming for an extended period, with each blade lasting an average of 4 months (based on two full-face shaves per week; individual results may vary).

This contrasts with many traditional disposable razors that require replacement as often as once per month. While some disposable razor blades may have a lower price per unit, each unit lasts less time, meaning the costs add up more quickly. Furthermore (and unlike manual razors) OneBlade can be used for both wet and dry shaving, which makes shaving gel or foam an optional expense rather than something you have to buy regularly.
