Why is there condensation on the wall near my Philips Airfryer?

    Published on 23 December 2024

It is normal to find condensation on your wall especially if you placed your Philips Airfryer very close to it. Please place the device 20 centimetres from the wall and do not position the air outlet directly in front of the socket. If you still find condensation on your wall behind your Philips Airfryer, find possible causes and solutions below.

    Cooking food that contains water

If you are cooking fresh food that contains a lot of water or cooking frozen food, more steam could be generated during cooking and released from the air vent which is on the back of the Airfryer. If the air vent is close to a cold surface, like a wall, condensation will form on it.

You are using a steam related function

Your NA55X Airfryer has steam-related functions such as steam, air fry and steam, steam clean, and descale. If you are using one of these functions, then the right pan will be full of steam, which is released from the right air vent that is on the back of the Airfryer. The hot steam could become condensation when it reaches a cold surface.
