Beardtrimmer series 5000waterproof stubble trimmer

Love this trimmer - easily removes unwanted hair. It's a pleasure to use. My only niggle is that the power button is too easy to press accidentally when using the trimmer.

I have been using this trimmer daily for 18 months + At home and in the travel bag. Keeps beard and mo nice and tidy on exactly the desired length with great choice of settings. Easy to use and clean.

The stubble trimmer is the best personal grooming item I have obtained to date. Philips products are famous for their reliability and high standard of workmanship. My first Philips product was a grey leather bound transistor radio bought in Hong Kong in 1969 which I only stopped using with advent of FM broadcasting. Keep up the good work

I've had this beard trimmer for a couple of years now and it's an indispensable piece of kit for the discerning gent. The trimmer is very solid and feels weighty but not overly much in your hand. Adjustment is very simple. Nothing to really go wrong and no pointless "touch" electronic gimmicks like my old trimmer from another competitor brand. The battery lasts ages. Really ages. I charge this trimmer and I think it gets plugged in again after a couple of months. Unless you shave daily, you will have at least 6-8 weeks worth of charge. It's quiet which is nice in the morning. It means I can continue listening to my radio without a buzzing in the background. And this trimmer isn't just for beards. This trimmer can be used anywhere and everywhere all over your body for the ultimate trim. Cleaning is incredibly easy. Since the unit is waterproof, you just rinse it under the tap. Any stubborn hairs under the blades are easily removed with an old toothbrush and the trimmer can then be left to drip-dry. The only downside to this trimmer is the flimsiness of the guard. I fear one day it may break and it does flex when you apply too much pressure.

This trimmer is a very capable and well made product. It cuts with ease and is very comfortable to use and has some very useful features like the zoom wheel and the flip top cutting head. I highly recommend this product!

I cannot even remember when i bought this....definitely 5 + years ago !! The blades are still as sharp as the day i bought them !! The blades are self sharpening diamond like carbon....in other words....these will perform at a consistently high level for a very very long time. The shaving experience is comfortable thanks to the rounded edges of the blades. It is a stubble trimmer so you can trim very closely for a proper foam shave. Sure the battery eventually deteriorates but i just use it while plugged in....the charger cord length is very long and doesnt get in the way. What a trimmer folks !! Phillips makes the finest quality trimmers in the world !! Also, it is very easy to clean. Just stick it under the sink faucet....its water proof !!

extremely easy to use, cuts hair and beard perfectly! and the most important it is water resistant, so washing it under sink after you are done is extremely practical

i really like this berd trimmer with integrated length adjustment. it feels durable and has a nice weight to it. the replacement i received isn't as heavy but it does have a new feature where the blades have rounded edges which is supposed to minimize the chances of nicks and cuts.
