These seem to give about the same performance as my 6K HID low beam, and they don't require the high voltage drivers. I heard they had a better life expectancy than the Slvania. One year so far. I don't always turn them on for the half hour drive to work and home, but I do for the way home at night for 60 mile return a 120 mile round trip each weekend. However, I realize all filament bright bulbs have a limited life that can be rated in hours. I don't see that rating for either brand. Looks like that technology is only rated for 150/800 hrs for any brand. Seems you have bright short or dim long lasting. So take your choice. Maybe I need a brightness control nob. I could build a power efficient version or an auto brightness.

My truck had them in it when i bought the truck. I loved them so much i had to find out what kinda light it was so i could have them as a high beam as well very bright for the price.

These bulbs only lasted 10 months for me before they died. They had a nice bright white color while they worked.

A 2 bulb set of 9006 BLX2 lasted only 13 months. For what these costs they should last at least as long as the OEM bulbs, in my case the OEM's lasted 5 years.
