6000 series4K Ultra Slim Smart LED TV

The tv is perfect size for our needs/room. However we find after a certain time it automatically turns off and we can't find the answer why in the manual. The benefit of having Netflix on hand is easier than our previous experience.

This was a replacement for a smaller older TV in my rumpus room. I had been spreadsheeting the pros and cos of various brands and models over recent months and intended to spend a whole lot more money on a TV for the rumpus room but when an end-of-financial year promotion from "The Good Guys" popped into my email inbox and which made the TV really quite cheap, I thought "Why not? What have I got to lose?" so I went on line and bought the TV. It turns out that it is now the best TV of the five that I have throughout the house. Surprisingly better than the four year old premium other brand that is my main TV in our living room. Apart from the superb picture, and more than adequate sound for my ageing ears, the TV works better with my poorly aimed TV aerial (gotta fix that some day!) that I have in the ceiling on the extra long cable run from that antenna into my downstairs rumpus room than my more premium priced brand TVs. I suspect that this latter experience happens because, perhaps, the RF (radio frequency) input stage of the Phillips TV may be better designed than the others. Given that Phillips has a long pedigree with commercial radio technologies, this probably should not surprise me. Also, the response of the tv to changes made on the remote control is very fast and much better than that of any other TV in the house. Clearly, the internal processors that this Phillips TV has are well and truly up to the job. So overall, I am absolutely delighted with this TV and never more so than it was very cheap compared with most brands on the market. I hasten to add that whilst I have no affiliation with Phillips, nor with anything to do with TVs, I am retired electronics engineer from a totally different industry so my comments reflect my knowledge of communications and electronics a little bit and, in that light, I think that this Phillips TV is a beauty!

I am not “tech savvy” and I’m a single parent of special needs kids so I was surprised at how easy it was set up the new TV. Having to screw the feet on threw me - I was anxious about the screen but it’s perfect. The quality of the picture is s as maxing and the settings are so easy to navigate. Even the kids can work them. Highly recommended for families.

As always Philips delivers good quality products . Because l got looked after year's ago by a warranty claim, l have always respected the company and that helped me to decide purchasing this TV.

Really happy with this purchase. The screen is clear, the sound is good and the connection to our home wi-fi was smooth. One of the reasons we chose this TV was the fact that it has a quick connection to Netflix and YouTube but nothing more. We are not interested in Stan etc... The addition of some good quality external speakers has also enhanced the experience.

phillips has always been a good tv in years past and the price was right too

Product has excellent features for the price paid and reasonably competes with expensive similar products. User friendly and recommend others to purchase.
