Lasted 18 years just broken what do I replace with the best iron ever

My Iron is 10 years old .. has been used almost every week Ironed everything as it left clothes looking like new I have to admit I only cleaned it three times a year Today it stopped producing steam .. have given it a thorough clean and hope it works again. If not I will buy another Philips

I gave it a 5 rating as its best iron I have used its still going since day 1. I used to get odd brown water etc but realised buildup in iron causes this so I clean it at end of every ironing I do. I remove the screw on side empty water out of it from there and blast it with water from my tap fill it up shake it and empty again cleans machine out. You need to do this regular so you dont get the brown water marks. Highly recommend and hope it continues to work

This is the best iron I have ever had. Once you get used to handling it, it works like a dream.

this iron is so easy to use and has a great steam button for extra steam. It really does make doing the ironing so much easier.

After ironing for about 30 mins without any issues I now can't stop water dripping from the iron and I also noticed that the temperature light does not come on ? Have just de-calc ed the iron but it has made no difference.. Anything else I can do please ?

I purchased this product as in the past Philips has been a name I can trust. At first this iron was fantastic, I could wizz though my ironing in half the normal time. It is cleaned out regularly as per instructions, however the iron now insists on spiting out water and leaves brown marks. I have followed all the advice from other websites and still the problem remains. Its driving me mad!!!!! The Iron is also big and bulky and storage can be a nuisance, especially when it comes to the leads.

lovely iron at first but after around 3yrs of use it has started spitting out dirty water on clothes resulting in re washing.no doubt I will get a reply saying follow link and clean as described.....wouldn't be so bad if the advice actually worked. wont buy another phillips
