Docking station with Bluetooth®

Highly recommend this product to anyone. Who has an iPhone 16 pin model or iPad

Overall I am very very satisfied with this product. The fullness of the sound is amazing. It has a solid bass and brings music to life. Not tinny sounding at all. DAB, alarm (with weekday options, and power failure operation), display with time and date, ability to turn off the display, and overall looks and feel of the product is all amazing!

I brought this on the off change that if it looks good it should sound good too, I was not disappointed as it sounds as good as it looks.! It's very easy to setup though without the manual, storing radio stations would be impossible as there is no sensible logic to it! Press and hold on an empty slot, every device I own works this way, but not this Philips and so you have to read the manual to figure it out. I love the feature of plonking your iphone on it and the clock updates automatically to the correct time and date, nice!! The DAB works perfectly and is crystal clear with a good bass. The only really awful thing about this product, is the flashing and distracting Bluetooth icon that is present on any source input selected except Dock!! Why? as it only needs to be there when BT selected! Grrr!

Good sound and overall features but the interface with my iPhone 5 is causing issues... the iPhone is silent when texts / emails arrive if in the same wifi / bluetooth network as the philips clock radio - even if the app is turned off. I can not find a fix for this and it is most annoying.

I'm really happy with the sound quality. But with connectivity I'm not so happy. It works easily with my iPhone but not my Windows PC. I got it to connect the first time but now if I want to connect again it temporarily shows up in the bluetooth settings as connected for only a second and then turns off. I connected another bluetooth speaker to my PC and don't have this problem, I can switch it on and off easily in my speaker settings.

I'm using this as an iPod dock in my living room, not even as a clock-radio for the bedroom. This has great design, sound and user friendly functionality. I agree with a previous reviewer in that the user manual could be better written, but if you download the app, that makes setting it up a lot easier and even acts as a remote. Although I found the volume control via the app tends to lag a bit.

This is a great product it has great sound quality there nothing to complain about except for the instructions there not very clear in some areas, especially the menu there's all these functions and I don't know how they work. Other than that great product deffenitly recommend it

I am very happy with purchase. I do not use the bluetooth feature.How do I stop the bluetooth icon flashing?

It looks nice, that's the first thing I noticed. At the time of purchase, December 2013, there were limited options for i-device docks with lightning connectors that also had DAB radio (most have FM only). The settings menus are painful to navigate because the buttons do not make it clear which ones to use. Also different inputs give you different settings that don't all apply to that input. For example Bluetooth settings are under the DAB input. I had to refer to the user guide to work this out. But in everyday use it is easy to use and in fact it tunes the DAB radio for you and sets the clock when you attach your i-device and since the default settings are all sensible this might be all you need to do. One of the biggest annoyances of dock devices these days is the blue backlit displays that light up like Christmas. This one is better in that it's the display segments that light up and not the whole display. The dimmer allows you to set the brightness to a less annoying level - although I always have it on the lowest level (there are only four levels including off). The only problem with the display brightness is that it resets to full brightness after you switch it on - ie listen to music or radio etc. Then when you switch off it remains at full brightness. It would be nice if you set a default brightness level. I have yet to get Bluetooth working, neither an iPhone 5 or Samsung Note 3 can find the dock. Support say it is defective so I will have to go to the shop and try a display unit to confirm. I like the idea of the mobile app which will allow my android device to stream music to the dock and control it... if I can get Bluetooth working.
