Finally, an iron that does exactly as it claims. The cord is a good length, at 2 metres and the iron isn't too heavy. I ironed solidly for about 3 hours and it didn't drip on my clothes once. The water tank holds 300mls and it lasts quite a long time even using full steam for linen. I used it on linen, cotton, polyester, wool and viscose garments and all wrinkles were erased promptly. You just have to read the instructions first. I can't recommend this highly enough.

The iron looks good and with the longer electrical cord the units convenience has enhanced ironing

Glides easily over clothes so do not have to apply much pressure, easy to select type of fabric with rotary dial, good size water tank and sufficient length of wire

It is a good weight - not too heavy or too light. It's easy to use and irons well. The only thing I don't like is the cleaning instructions which could be better.

This seems to be an excellent iron; good weight, smooth baseplate and good steam production. Worth spending a bit more for a good product.

This iron has a self descaling item that is so easy to clean after each ironing session. If you live like I do in a hard water area this is an amazing feature.

Bought this to replace a steam generator as I can no longer lift the item due to an illness this was recommended by my family and I am very pleased with the product it’s easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fast and powerful iron, the Philips DST7020/20 Steam Iron helps me a lot to save time and leaves my clothes neat. I really like the design and the anti-dripping feature is something that I really love. All my previous irons were dripping water and that sometimes combined with scale was leaving stains on my clothes especially on the white shirts. This iron is not just fabulous with steaming, but it also has such an easy way to clean it. As per the plate, it glides effortlessly, and this helps me a lot. What I have always wanted to have in an iron, I have it with this Philips Steam Iron. The iron can be used vertically as well, and this helps me when I want to refresh my suit jackets, without leaving creases on them. In terms of capacity, it holds enough water to iron a few shirts without topping up the tank. Overall, I really like the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always struggle finding a good iron but am really impressed with this one. It's not too heavy, and makes light work of the ironing. Nice fine mist of spray at the touch of a button and reaches its temperature quickly
