Beardtrimmer series 7000Vacuum stubble and beard trimmer

I chose this product some years ago because of the vacuum and cordless features. The trimmer has proved to be a success in all aspects with one exception. I like the battery life and the ease of use. The vacuum feature is a real plus point and works well. The only feature that isn't good is the fragility of the tabs that lock the trimmer head into the body of the trimmer. About once a year a tab breaks and I have to source a replacement. I'm on my 5th or 6th trimmer head. And it takes 2 or 3 weeks for a replacement to arrive - that's the post for you. On at least two occasions the packaging has not prevented the trimmer head from being damaged. Apart from that design flaw it's an excellent product. I like it. I use the Beard trimmer about once a week.

I have occasional short beard and this is a good value trimmer that does the job. Trimming vacuum works effectively to reduce mess. First cutting head broke due to weak tabs holding it to the body. Philips customer service replaced with little fuss. The tabs on the new cutting head are stronger and unlikely to break.

This was my very first beard trimmer, and in past two years never had any dramas. sometimes, it stucks on 2mm and does not go to 1mm. other than that very happy with this trimmer.

I've had this for 6 months now and love it. Just one or two runs over the beard is enough to do the job (unlike my last trimmer that required repeated passes). The vacuum function doesn't capture everything but it collects most of the trimmings and it makes cleaning up after use so much easier. Add to this great battery life and you have a fantastic product

Does exactly what it claims it can do, battery life is reasonable, easy to clean and look after and is well suited to everyday use even for a reasonable close shave. Does not grab hair or pinch like some other products i have used. Overall i would recommend this product for anyone looking for a affordable easy to use solution.

The wheel is easy to use and makes switching lengths easy. The motor is strong and the battery charges quickly.

I specifically search for the Philips brand of trimmer as I have found the simple design of the shaving head and trim guide to be the most effective of any other trimmer that I have found in the market place to date.

Love the quietness and smooth feel of this compared to my older Philips trimmer. But for some reason they have made cleaning it more difficult. The hair collector isn't removable anymore. They do give you a couple of small cleaning tools, but I have found that using my cordless vac is much more effective at quickly clearing out those little hairs. Charging is also much much better, taking only an hour to charge, but giving a decent runtime. All in all very pleased, I just wish cleaning wasn't such a kerfuffle :)
