How to get DTS audio via HDMI when playing video files on my Philips player?

    Published on 2017-08-24

When an authorized DTS disc is played, the system can give both PCM and DTS audio as the output signals via HDMI connection. However, when a video file (for example, files in USB memory drive, disc or DLNA sources) containing DTS audio is played, the system can only give PCM signal via HDMI connection. In this situation, use coaxial or digital connection to get DTS audio output.
