Philips HomeRun 9000 Series Vacuum and Wash Robot does not empty automatically

    Published on 21 October 2024

Philips HomeRun 9000 Series Vacuum and Wash Robot models come equipped with the All-in-One Station. After a full cycle of cleaning, the robot's dust bin is emptied automatically into the disposable bag within the All-in-One Station.

Make sure that the robot automatically empties the dust bin into the disposable bag as follows:

    1. Check that the power plug of the station is properly inserted into the socket.
    2. Check that the disposable vacuum cleaner bag is properly inserted. Tip: Watch the video below.
    3. Check that the dust bag is not full. Place an empty dust bag into the All-in-One Station.
    4. Check that the lid of the station and the dust bag compartment are closed.
    5. De-select quiet mode or do not disturb in the HomeRun app.
    6. Check that the All-in-One Station inlet is not blocked.

    Note for model XU9100

    1. Self-cleaning starts both when you manually return the robot to the station and when the robot automatically returns to the station after a cleaning session of more than ten square metres.
    1. To start automatic self-cleaning by hand, open the Philips HomeRun app and select your robot from the "My Robots" list. Then, click on the "Station" button on the homepage and  select "Start self-cleaning". Please note that automatic emptying can only be performed once every 15 minutes to prevent the engine from overheating.
