The floater in my Philips All-in-One Cooker does not rise up

See below to find possible causes and solutions as to why the floater in your Philips All-in-One Cooker does not rise up.
If there is not enough food or water, then the floater will not rise up. To solve this, add more food or water until there is enough in the inner pot (above the minimum level).
For the floater to be properly assembled, the metal part should be connected from the top (outside) and the seal of the floater should be on the inner part of the lid. Please see the picture below.
