Lumea AdvancedIPL - Hair removal device

Bought this for me and my daughters. It actually works and works well

On my first treatment, I didn't get enough ideas how to use it. But before my 2nd treatment i had a research and study on it. I saw the difference, there were less hair and even after 2 weeks my hair didn't grow that much! My skin tone is not drak but I can't use the laser in some part of my body like under arms, also the boney parts of my body like knees. Otherwise the product is amazing!

I’ve had professional laser hair removal in the past and have spend quite a bit of money and time going to apply. The Philips Lumea IPL 7000 series is the bomb. It works exactly the same as the professional salon machines in the comfort of my own home. I can do it at a convenient time that suits me and the best part I don’t have to go out. I can also do my entire body and not have to pay for seperate treatments. Couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend

I wasn’t expecting much to be honest. I’ve had laser in various clinics over the years. And while you can’t smell the hairs burning like you do in a clinic the results are the same. I’ve just applied similar rules as the clinics and ignored the’you can wax before’. I’m impressed with the results.

PCOS. I had to pluck hair on my face daily and it was getting worse and worse. I've bought Lumea and first 4 months followed the instructions, but I have been doing weekly sessions, I was shaving twice per day and it wasn't working at all on my light skin and dark thick hair. I thought I've bought the wrong Lumea because mine doesn't have facial extensions. After 4 months, tired of shaving in the mornings and evenings, I have plucked everything I could and used the lamp again. After only few weeks the hair started growing much lighter, thinner and not so noticeable. At this point, I am using it now for about 9 months, usually monthly and plucking when needed between sessions. I still need to pluck some hair every now and then, but not as near as often or as much as I had to previously. Hair grow is highly refuced, lighter and much easier to pluck out as well.

I have been using this IPL machine on my underarms, arms, and legs for about 6 months following the phone app sessions. As someone who had to shave every other day, this IPL has been a complete gamechanger. I now have to shave once every 2-3 weeks, and even then the hair is sparse. As it is an IPL, it does take around 3 sessions to notice significant difference. However after the first session I did notice that hair growth rate had decreased (i.e. could shave every 3rd day!). I have also been using this on my SO's neck with the facial attachment to get rid of unwanted beard areas. So far there has been a reduction of hair growth there too. Some cons: - For bendy, bony areas such as knees and ankles you have to hold the device a bit awkwardly and your hand can cramp. - Need to remember where you have covered or else you could end up with weird strips/patches of hair here and there. - Expect to take double the estimated times that Philips says to IPL until you get used to it. For reference my skin colour is light and hair is black. I've been using the device with the phone application.

This IPL hair removal device is fantastic i got results with in the first month of using it ,already i have noticed alot of patches without hair and the hair that is still there is growing much slower . Thankyou Philips

I've done 4 treatments now and I have to admit I was very sceptical when buying it but it seems to work. I'm getting hairless patches in the areas that I've been treating (legs - bikini line - armpits) but I haven't noticed much difference on my face. Pretty happy with the result this far though, I didn't notice much difference in the start but now after the 4th treatment I'm definitely noticing a difference. Keen to see if I'll end up 'hairless' after enough treatments :-)

Product is fantastic, works as it should. Only downside is no comms for the $100 gift card after buying the product, i suspect i will have to call to try get it.

Easy to use, slowed hair growth after first use, love it. Wish I had bought one years ago.
