PerfectCare AquaSteam generator iron

I purchased this Steam Generator Iron as an upgrade from my previous Philips Steam Generator which was over 4 years old and died. This one is very flash, no need to change settings, provides a great amount of steam, much more than my previous model and it doesn't spit water like my previous one used too from time to time. Have used it on a number of different fabrics and has performed well on all. As I use this iron most days it lives permanently on my bench in the laundry, so the weight of the base is no issue for me. Only thing I find annoying is the length of the cord to the iron I need to be very close to the bench with the ironing board and at times this can be a bit awkward.

I am on to my second iron in this range. I just love the speed with which I can whizz through all the shirts, and the steam lock-on setting is great for de-wrinkling those 'hung in the wardrobe too long' clothes. I also like the 'no setting' feature, and have ironed from silk, synthetic through to wool with all good results, and no adverse effects on the fabric. Fantastic. it has only one minus, the stream cord is not as flexible as just a plain electric cord, but one gets used to it. Ruffles and hard to iron areas look so much better with just the steam setting and hovering over them, then a little shake and it's all done.

Very easy to setup and use. No need to set temperature for all fabric types.

I have owned my PerfectCare Aqua Steam generator for approx 4 years now, so impressed I purchased one for my daughter in law. Trick to be careful of I damaged 2 garments when away using hotel irons, because I have so spoilt not having to change temp settings and being able to iron silk!

I'm extremely happy with my new Phylips Steam Iron Station. I have upgraded from a Phlylips earlier model. I was happy with my old Iron, I had it for over 10 years without any problems. This one is much lighter and I like the continuous steam option.

I really love my new steam iron. It works perfectly and makes ironing so much easier. I love that you don't have to adjust the settings to the fabric type, it just knows!! My only negative is the iron head doesn't have a flat base so you can't sit it on the board while you move the clothing item to iron another spot. I use the "hopper" on my board to house it so it's a small problem really. Overall the best iron ever!!
