Very pleased with the performance of this product.

I'd normally expect about 2 years of service from a steam iron; I bought one of these over 4 years ago. It's a very important tool - I work in a Government law-enforcement agency, and my uniforms need to be presented in a crisp, smart fashion. I find that the best results are achieved by maintaining the iron in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. It's never let me down.

We have a very busy household similar to any family requiring ironed clothes for my work and some ironed clothes for the family. This iron did not see heavy use and had already died after only 6-8 months. Will be purchasing something else but will be purchasing with an eye on the warranty date.
