EasyRead mode for a paper-like reading experience

Experience improved comfort and readability when reading long, text-heavy documents. EasyRead Mode creates a paper-like viewing experience that’s gentler on your eyes by adjusting your display’s colors and zoom levels which simulate the feeling of reading on real paper—right on your digital display.

Built in USB-C docking station

This Philips display features a built-in USB type-C docking station with power delivery. Its slim, reversible USB-C connector allows for easy, one-cable docking. Simplify by connecting all your peripherals like keyboard, mouse and your RJ-45 Ethernet cable to the monitor's docking station. Simply connect your notebook and this monitor with a single USB-C cable to watch high-resolution video and transfer super-speed data, while powering up and re-charging your notebook at the same time.

Less eye fatigue with Flicker-free technology

Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED-backlit screens, some users experience flicker on their screen which causes eye fatigue. Philips Flicker-free Technology applies a new solution to regulate brightness and reduce flicker for more comfortable viewing.

Verified buyer

Excellent general purpose monitor

I bought this monitor to use with both a Mac computer and an older PC, and it works really well with both (the Mac via the HDMI input, the PC via the DVI input). The screen is excellent, and the monitor has numerous features such as power and light sensors, LowBlue mode, excellent colour gamut, good viewing angle, and adjustments for height, pivot, swivel and tilt. It can be used for gaming, but overall it has proved to be a great general purpose monitor and very good value for the price.

Pros

Clear sharp image, QHD resolution, numerous features, excellent adjustability, 75Hz refresh

Cons

No particular concerns

Excellent all-in-one business monitor

This a no-nonsense business orientated monitor. The base/stand is solid. The USB-C Dock works beautifully with the included cable. The auto KVM is a great bonus and also works fine once set up correctly and makes sharing two computers very convenient. The OSD takes getting used to. Philips probably take better notice of user experience, as these monitors are more than likely to be used with work issued computers and won't allow users to install their drivers. Having said that, I have had no issues.

Pros

USB-C Dock and KVM

Cons

OSD and Smart Control software a little clunky
