    What problem has Philips DA identified with the Airfryer HD9220?

     

    It has come to our attention that if dropped or misused the handle component of our original Philips Airfryer HD9220 may become loose over time.

     

    Is the Philips Airfryer safe to use?

     

    Yes, Philips products are manufactured to conform to Australian Standards and are safe to use when used in accordance with the instructions provided.

    Can I continue to use my Airfryer?

     

    Yes. You can but please follow the directions for use of the product as stated in the product instructions and not to use this model if the handle is loose.

    What is Philips’ advice to owners of Airfryers?

     

    Please check if your appliance has been damaged, in particular, if the handle of the basket is loose. If it is, please do not use the Airfryer.     How do I know if the handle of my basket is loose or damaged?

     

    It may have been damaged if you notice any gaps between the handle and the bracket which is connected to the basket rim, damage to the plastic or missing screws. Further indications are moving of the handle or that the handle is not firmly attached to the basket.

    What Airfryer models are experiencing this issue?

     

    Our messaging only relates to the HD9220 model, but please contact us if the same issue arises with another model.

    What if I experience the same problem with a different Airfryer model?
