The Boston Consulting Group 2018 survey is a recognition of companies that have successfully executed the shift to digital innovation by building digital technologies into their global innovation programs. Given this context, the ranking underlines the transformation of Philips into focused health technology company aimed at bringing meaningful digital health innovations to people and health systems worldwide. For the survey, BCG interviewed senior global innovation executives and studied Philips’ performance in the marketplace.
