Philips HeartStart FRx
A sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) can happen anywhere at any time[1]. And the chances of survival decrease for each minute that passes without CPR and a shock from an AED[2].
With its ease-of-use and real-time, step-by-step voice prompts the Philips HeartStart FRx automated external defibrillator (AED) is designed to help ordinary people as they respond in an extraordinary moment.
AND RELIABLE
ROBUST
The HeartStart FRx is lightweight, rugged and reliable. It is designed and built to endure a variety of different conditions including extreme weather, wet surfaces, and dusty environments.
The FRx can withstand drops or falls and has automated maintenance features.
1.22 m (4 ft).
PEDIATRIC KEY
The HeartStart FRx is easily used on adults and infants/children.
The FRx is available with an optional Infant/Child Key; simply insert it and the defibrillator adjusts instruction and therapy, eliminating the need for additional infant/child pads.
EASY AS 1-2-3
The HeartStart FRx is simple to use.
The FRx includes features to help guide the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) with easy setup, real-time metronome and clear, step-by-step voice prompts paced to your actions.
QUICK SHOCK
The HeartStart FRx can typically deliver a shock within 8 seconds after the end of a CPR pause. The Quick Shock feature helps minimize the interruption of CPR chest compressions, increasing the chance that a shock will result in a successful conversion from a life-threatening rhythm.

"Having voice command prompts is a huge support. Even if you are fully trained to use an AED, you may forget something in a panic."

"I applied the pads to his chest and turned it on for analysis. It advised a shock, so I delivered one shock. After re-analysis, I began CPR."

SMART-pads
SMART Pads detect the rescuer’s initial touch and guide the AED to adapt the instructions to the precise pace of the responder. The voice prompts are designed to assist rather than overwhelm.
SMART-analysis
SMART analysis automatically assesses the victim’s heart rhythm. Whether the victim is an adult or child it delivers the right amount of therapy and only if it is needed. Even if you press the shock button, it will only deliver therapy if the rhythm is determined to be shockable.
CPR guidance
Real-time, step-by-step voice commandsprompts paced to your actions, and an audible metronome and CPR guidance assist the responder.
