3G is the third generation of wireless mobile telecommunications technology. Wireless technologies enable mobile devices to share data.
If you have a DreamStation device with 3G cellular modem, your device will continue to store your therapy data. However, your device may no longer be able to make automatic calls to transmit your therapy data to your provider and DreamMapper. Your therapy data can continue to be uploaded via SD card or Bluetooth, which has been built into your device. More information can be found here DreamMapper | Philips. When available, you also have the option to upgrade your 3G cellular modem to a 4G cellular modem.
When 3G is turned off, the device will likely present with a Failed status of 1-X (possibly 1-0, 1-1, 1-2 or 1-3)
With Philips DreamStation Bluetooth connectivity, you can continue to transfer therapy data using the Philips Dream Mapper patient app. More information can be found here DreamMapper | Philips.
Locate the SD card slot on your device. Note: Your device will continue to operate so you can continue with your therapy.
