When was the last time you thought about your brushing technique? A dab of toothpaste, perhaps 30 seconds of brushing and then a quick rinse... it’s something we do every day without ever really thinking about it. Although we’d like to believe there’s no wrong way to clean our teeth, a quick conversation with any dentist will reveal otherwise.
We all know brushing is instrumental in removing plaque, bacteria and other decay-causing nasties, but our technique may be doing our teeth more harm than good. Too hard, too brief, too busy, too sore…there’s a lot our mouths can tell us as soon as the bristles swipe against the gum line.
