The"#" key is used both as a doorbell button and a "#" key. When the door lock is in sleep mode and pressing the "#" key can activate the doorbell, and the camera will immediately capture the photo and uploads it to the Smart Life App. After viewing the logs and confirming the visitor's information, you can unlock the door remotely through the App with a singel tap, allowing the visitors to enter the door easily.
The inside assembly is equipped with a 3.5-inch IPS display screen, allowing you to instantly view the situation outside the door without opening the door. This feature is especially beneficial for families with elderly individuals or young children, as there is no need to log into the Smart Life App. It ensures a more user-friendly and hassle-free experience for everyone.
The inside assembly of the door lock equips with a quick-open handle and a rotary knob. If an emergency leads to the malfunction of the smart door lock, it does not affect the opening of the door lock. Rotating the handle or the rotary knob allows emergency egress, which could ensure the users' safety.
With the 20-digit hidden PIN code technology, Philips DDL303-VP-5HWS lets you enter any random number combination of up to 20 digits, including the valid PIN code, to verify and unlock the door. This feature ensures security, prevents peeping, and safeguards your real PIN code.

The"*" key is used both as a "lock" button and an "*" key. Upon normal use, the dead bolt will pop out and lock automatically upon door closing. If you want to achieve instant door locking upon closing, you can wake up the keypad and long press the "*" key for 2 seconds to make the dead bolt pop out immediately, realizing one-key quick locking.
Fingerprints, PIN codes, Smart Life App, key tags, and mechanical keys are available unlocking methods, which can meet the need of different users, and are applicable for the whole family.
The "0" key is used both as a digit button and a mute button. Press and hold the "0" key for 2 seconds to enable the mute mode. Without disturbing your family at night, the thoughtful design allows you to get back home in a quiet manner.
