Sydney, Australia – Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA) a leader in health technology, and Philips Avent have announced the launch of Baby+, following on from the success of the award-winning1 Pregnancy+ app. This renewed parenting app helps to track a newborn’s development for the first two years and includes a range of features and trackers. It offers expert information based on the baby’s development stage, giving new parents the confidence to enjoy the journey. Philips Avent is passionate about providing new parents with relevant and reliable information, helping to track baby’s development and offer reassurance.
From the first magical moment a parent says “hello” to their little one, to the first smile and joyful steps, being a parent is extraordinary. However, there are also challenging moments where it’s hard to make sense of it all. While previous generations may have depended on grandparents for advice, nowadays, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the amount of information available on the internet and social media.
We understand that parents know their baby better than anyone. While their instincts are often correct, they prefer to make informed decisions about their baby’s care, for that reason, we developed the Philips Avent Baby+ app. The app offers parents relevant information and the opportunity to track their baby’s development, so they feel supported during this amazing journey.

The Philips Avent Baby+ app has been developed in close collaboration with healthcare professionals and parents, to support parents from the day the baby is born. With a new screen feed every day, users can track their baby’s growth, and receive advice specific to their development stage. The app features everything from a feeding, crying and expression tracker, through to unique user generated photo content, informative articles, guides and lullabies. Users can even create a yearbook or use the face-a-day function to capture baby’s growth and share these with their family and friends. Baby+ can track multiple babies, perfect for twins, or siblings, close in age.
With over 25 million users globally, Pregnancy+ is a daily destination for parents throughout pregnancy. It provides support from the very moment they discover they’re pregnant, by offering personal and expert information in the form of articles, information and trackers. With the app, users can follow baby’s development during each week with 42 weeks of beautifully created 3D images. These are now available in five different ethnicities, with scenes that include full audio and weekly development information.
The app is designed to help parents enjoy this time by bringing a feel-good factor to pregnancy with beautiful, informative and helpful content, accompanied with clinical back-up and expertise, to give advice that really matters.
