With patient safety and quality always the imperative, Philips certification exams are designed to assess and certify Field Service Engineers with the knowledge and problem-solving skills required to ensure the safe and effective servicing of medical devices.
Field Service Engineers wishing to become a Certified Philips Service Professional will have to meet the minimum requirements of the relevant program, including achieving passing scores for all required examinations to receive accreditation. The program requires field experience, pre-requisite training, testing, continuing education and recertification. Philips has used standard best practice procedures in examination development to assure the reliability of test scores and validity of content: ISO standard 17024.
Successful candidates receive a digital badge and a Philips certificate as confirmation of their achievements.
Philips Ultrasound Service Professional Certification Track
This program comprises two parts: 1. Philips Ultrasound Field Service Engineer Certification exam: This exam assesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Ultrasound Field Service Engineer.
2. Philips Ultrasound Series Certificate exams: These exams assess Field Services Engineers’ ability to apply knowledge gained by completing system specific learning paths.
