Making the difference with
Philips Live Image Guidance in Interventional Oncology

Live Image Guidance in the treatment of hypervascular tumors of the liver

As interventional oncology technology evolves, we are focused on finding new ways to help you treat the

entire hypervascular tumor in the liver and all their feeder vessels without affecting healthy tissue or organs.

Our next generation OncoSuite* with a greatly expanded version of XperCT Dual offers world’s first dedicated interventional imaging for the visualization of BTG LUMIᵀᴹ, ¹beads (www.LCBeadLUMI.com) used in the endovascular oncologic procedures of the liver.

The new Open Trajectory feature of XperCT Dual allows visualization of off-centered regions of interest, such as the periphery of the liver, in a single sweep².

Other features of XPerCT Dual include for example DualPhase and DualView. DualPhase allows one-step automatic reconstruction of arterial and delayed phase of contrast injection. DualView allows simultaneous visualization of two cone beam CT datasets (pre- and post).

With our Live Image Guidance, we aim to remove barriers to safer, more effective and reproducible treatments, delivering relevant clinical value where it’s needed most - at the point of patient treatment.

Open Trajectory

Enhances visualization of off-centered regions of interest, like the periphery of the liver.

DualPhase Imaging

DualPhase Imaging provides visualization of the vascular structures present in the region of interest in the arterial phase and accumulation of contrast agent in the delayed phase.

World's first optimized imaging for radiopaque beads

Guides targeted delivery and tumor coverage.

“EmboGuide detects 50% more feeding blood vessels from the hepatic artery than standard DSA³, and the physicians’ burden can be considerably mitigated by the use of EmboGuide. We think it is a very useful software.”

Dr S. Miyayama, MD, Fukui-ken Saiseikai Hospital, Japan

“With the advance of Dual-Phase cone-beam CT there is really no need anymore for a combined Angio-CT or Angio-MR system.”
