No support for original Ipad as stated on manuals and the box
Great concept, that where it stops for me: DOES NOT SUPPORT ORIGINAL IPAD AS QUOTED AND PROMISED, AS THE APP REQUIRED WILL ONLY SUPPORT ios 7 AND LATER. As most will know, original Ipad will only go to IOS 5.1.1, no later, so pointless purchase.

Okay for Kids, but hard to operate.
Very disappointed with this product. It is not battery powered and requires mains power to work. The app is very bad as the artists are covers and not the original artists. The app also requires subscription if you want VIP access. That is expensive at $32 for 6 months. Considering the price of this product, you would expect at least 12 months subscription thrown in. The fitting of the Ipad to the speaker is cumbersome and requires concentration. I do not think a child could attach the Ipad to the docking station. Overall I wish I had not spent so much money on this very poorly designed product and app.

Does not work with either of my android devices
Bought this as a fun toy for Christmas. Unfortunately the Starmaker app won't work on (or even download) to either of my devices. I have a Samsung tab and a Note 2 both on 4.1 or later (as stated as a requirement) but neither are compatible with the app. It might work OK for the Apple crowd but don't bother if you have Android.
