My L'OR Barista Milk Frother does not froth well

    Published on 2021-07-04

It can happen that the frothing quality of your L'OR Barista Milk Frother is less than expected. Note that the milk frother will always leave some milk behind after frothing. Try to use these possible causes and solutions if this is not the issue.

Ensure that the metal whisk is attached to the spindle. It is not possible to create milk foam without the metal whisk.

How to attach the metal whisk

Always fill the milk jug above the minimum indicator to ensure great milk foam. The minimum indicator is located on the inside of the jug.

Different types and brands of milk can affect the quality of the milk foam. We recommend that you use cold semi-skimmed cow's milk for the best frothing result.

To ensure a great milk foam, we recommend disassembling and cleaning all parts regularly, especially cleaning the metal whisk. To do so, follow the steps below:

    1. Disassemble the metal whisk, spindle and lid from each other
    2. Rinse the milk jug under the tap with hot water
    3. Rinse the metal whisk, spindle and lid under the tap with hot water, or clean all parts using the dishwasher
    4. Wipe the base with a damp cloth if needed

You can use the image below for cleaning reference.

How to clean all L'OR Milk Frother parts

The power button flashes to indicate that the L'OR Milk Frother needs to cool down first before you can use it again. Make sure to let it cool down for a few minutes.

Tip: You can rinse the inside of the milk jug with cold water to reduce the cool-down time.

If none of these steps solved the issue or if the power button does not stop flashing, please contact us for further assistance.
