If your Philips Sonicare toothbrush is vibrating less powerfully than before, you can often solve this yourself. Make sure that the toothbrush is fully charged.

Disable the Easy Start function

The Easy Start function on your Sonicare toothbrush might be activated. Disable the Easy Start function for DiamondClean Smart toothbrushes:

  1. Place your DiamondClean Smart on the charger.
  2. Hold the mode/intensity button and press the power button once
  3. The handle will beep once to confirm that Easy Start mode has been disabled.

When the handle beeps twice, the Easy Start function is enabled. Please make sure to disable it again using the instructions above.

Select the right brushing mode

Try using different brushing modes and find the optimal brushing experience for you.

Intensity settings

Your toothbrush has different high, medium and lower intensity settings. Try using a higher intensity and find the optimal brushing experience for you.

Replace your Sonicare brush head

Older brush heads can seem less effective or powerful while brushing. If your brush head has been in use for more than 3 months, we recommend that you replace your brush head.
