DisplayPort have not audio output for XP.

Install latest display card drivers

Go to Control Panel from Start =>Settings=>Control Panel Click Sounds and Audio Devices.

You should see two Default devices in the selection lists. Choose ATI HD Audio output to replace original Realtek audio output in this case.
