My Philips curler does not make my hair curly enough

    Published on 2019-07-17

If you are not satisfied with the curling results of your Philips Hair Curler, read our troubleshooting advice below to solve this issue.

You might be curling too much hair around the barrel

When curling your hair, it is important not to take a very thick strand of hair. The less hair you try to curl at one time, the better results you will get.

    Not curling long enough

Depending on the thickness of your hair, and your curling device, you may need to curl each hair section for 5 to 20 seconds.

    Using incorrect temperature settings

If your Philips Curler allows you to change the temperature settings, select the temperature suitable for your hair type. Thin, fine hair can be curled much easily so do not require a very high temperature. For thick hair, use high temperature settings. For more detailed instructions on how to use the settings of your hair curler please refer to your user manual.
