I purchased these headphones for my husbands birthday over 12mths ago, he has hardly used them and after recharging the other night the on off switch broke and for no reason stopped working. It wasn't from misuse as they are well looked after by him. We always buy Philips products for over 20 yrs so this was very disappointing and will cost alot to fix. If I knew that this was a fault wouldn't of purchased them.

Nice tone, comfortable to wear, can walk anywhere in the house without losing sound, have also been outside. Multi use is also a bonus, one set of headphones for TV and music

The headphone are of a good build quality. Simple to use. My model is not optic ready but there were none on the market that were so an adapter was required. There is a little imbalance left to right on occasion but it is tolerable. The base unit is a fiddly to get the headset in the right position so recharging can take place but with a little practice it is not a big problem. Wearing the headset for long periods get a bit uncomfortable around the edges of my ears as they don't totally fit inside the padded area.

I purchased this product for my husband who has difficulty hearing, especially when there is a lot of background noise. For the past two years he has been using your product SHC8535 and found them wonderful. I recently bought SHD8600 and am so disappointed that the volume range is terrible and we cannot reach the volume required for him to hear as clearly as he did with the previous headphones.

Not sure exactly what the problem is.
We are running 2 units Separately from the same TV. The guy at Harvey Norman told us we could use 1 as the transponder and receive on the 2 headsets but That didn't work.
Both headsets stop working randomly, can't switch them off. Need to remove a battery to get it to turn off. Replace battery and turn on again.
Bought them 5 days ago, taking them back. Not fit for purpose.

I have used this for two years.
Its sound is not synchronised with my TV making listening confusing and unenjoyable when others are listening through tv speakers.
Painfully bad fit over the ears for more than short time listening.
After exactly two years the power switch on the headphone broke and cannot be repaired.

I required two sets of wireless headphones so I purchased two of these fine looking .Comfy headsets. You can't use both at the same time as one cuts out. That's it. Philips are yet to come up with a solution.
