Rated 1 out of 5 by ZelMa23 Terrible design - leaks constantly
My daughter learnt to use this really easily which was great. But it leaks CONSTANTLY! I have been persevering for a few months now initially convinced that it was user error. But haven't had any luck. And I got so sick of the table, the floor, her bag, the car seat being soaked all the time. I'm so disappointed in this product. Especially for the price

I purchased this cup today for my toddler. She is learning how to drink from a cup, and requires a faster flow than is possible from a spouted sippy cup.
I read the packaging carefully, and decided on this style cup as it sounded like it would suit my current needs.
After purchasing, I rinsed it and filled it with 100mls of water. My toddler easily held the handles and bought it to her mouth (she already has the concept of drinking from a cup - I just want her to learn to do it independently, without spilling). As she mouthed the side of the cup her nose pressed the centre of the 'lid', releasing the valve which meant water poured out and soaked her dress right through. She tried again to drink, this time mouthing the top (the packaging states it can be drank from 360degrees) and the entire contents spilled out of the bottom of the rim - epic fail...100mls of water ON my toddler. 0 mls in her. So disappointing.
While the water does not spill if the cup tips over, it certainly spills when toddlers are trying to drink from it. I am very disappointed with this (expensive) purchase, and would like to be contacted regarding a refund (I do not use Facebook or twitter, only email).
After reading the other reviews on here, it looks as though other parents have experienced the same thing I did. I think this product needs reconsideration, to minimize disappointment and frustration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacqui1982 Awesome leak proof cup
This cup is so clever and does not leak at all if you assemble it correctly. It has a durable feel about it and our cup is still going strong after being given to us by a friend who already used it on their child and its still like new. It has a lid so it can go in your nappy bag and won't leak at all even when tipped on its side. It has four pieces to assemble for the mouth piece, so its only downside is that cleaning it is a bit of a pain and you need to disassemble it, but its such a great design where water can only come out of it when your child's lip pushes on it that the time consuming cleaning is a small price to pay and can't be helped. My 9 month old uses it with my help, so its not just for toddlers, and has been perfect for transitioning straight from the breast to an adult style cup without the need for bottles or baby sipper/straw cups.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MiniHoliday Leaks more than an open cup!
I thought the idea of this cup was a great one. Finally bought one for my toddler to transition from a traditional style sippy cup. It is useless, leaks everywhere, gets pressed in with their nose when the tip it up to drink. Not to mention they are able to push down on the top and let the liquid out too. Bad design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cat81 This cup leaks and is poorly designed
I have two if these cups for my twins and they are hopeless. They end up pouring water everywhere. I followed the care instrustions and clean every night, if you don't they go mouldy, and they wear out very quickly. I fortunately didn't pay the rather high price for these cup as they were are a well meaning gift, however, they are definitely not worth the price.

I didn't expect a trainer cup to be fully leakproof - as that's not really the purpose of such an item. I wanted to encourage my son to learn to drink from an open cup without him being able to tip water all over himself, and for that it's great. He can (and does) pour water out given half a chance, but it's only water so I don't really care, and I supervise him when eating and drinking so I make sure I take it off him when he's just playing with it.
I like that it can be fully disassembled for cleaning, and now I've got it sussed find it easy to put back together. I think it will help him to master drinking from a 'proper' cup over the next few months.
I intend to buy another one very soon, as I haven't seen any similar products locally!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Helen29 this 'lip activivated' cup spills constantly. Its design means I could have bought a $2 sippy cup, it is not mess free and not worth the $14 I paid.
Epic fail for design, ease of cleaning, function and cost.
