This shaver was my first and only shaver that I've ever used in my life. I'm not just talking about the brand, I bought this shaver in 2011 and still use it today. It has served me well. The day I decide to buy a new shaver, I'll definitely plan on buying the same one.
The only con is that the dispenser system is useless for me because I use a different cream than to the one that was designed for this shaver. I would prefer applying the cream myself anyway.

Would not recommend a razor that, after a relatively short time , broke and was out of guarantee!!! Not worth buying but good when it worked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roesti Excellent close shave every time
I have used it for about 4 years, changing the head every year. It gives an excellent shave, wet or dry. If the Nivea cartridge runs out you can use the shaver effectively with any light face or body cream. The design could be improved by making it easier to replace the re-chargeable battery.

Quick and easy, I've had a philips shaver now for 35years now, but this last shaver is one of the best I've had.

Having used Philishave razors since my first "Jet" in 1958 & have always replaced with a new & better Philips Shaver. Until this one! The handling of it seemed just perfect until I found myself continuously pressing the conditioner button with my thumb, so had to hold shaver in an unnatural position. A stronger spring would probably be the answer. The trimmer attachment is a joke. I can't speak for other men but my sideboards or whatever you call them, are much wider than the trimmer blade so have to make at least 2 cuts to the bottom of each & try to keep them even. I have tried & tried several methods of shaving, including Pre electric shave lotion, Just wet shave, Quick & slow circles & firm or light pressure. I always end up with a sore neck & have to use after shave. I can't even have a quick dry tidy up, as the shave does not retain the clippings. They are all over my jacket. This Shaver is just not a patch on my last one, a Philips Cool Skin, which I had to retire due to an electrical fault.
