The Exprelia is an excellent device which works very well. I have been unable to get any Crema on the coffee which is a bit disappointing The only dislike for me is the system for using milk, the carafe is difficult to get over the cup because the carafe spout gets stopped by the coffee outlet and is quite a business to get into the right spot. The carafe is also quite difficult to clean, it has many places that are hard to get to.
Generally it is a great machine but these design faults make it a bit unpleasant to use.

Nice range of coffee types, tastes just like a store bought coffee, easy to use. However I can only make two medium sized cappuccinos before I have to empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds, which are meant to be almost dry disks, are always wet and sloppy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by gold42 2nd machine fails
First machine didn't have enough steam pressure to froth the milk and then the hinge siezed and broke. It was replaced under warranty. Thankfully I took out five year extra coverage with the retailer. Second machine has leaked since day 1, no longer tells when the water requires filling, just makes horrible noises for water circuit priming, gets very messy around the brew group, the top hinge is corroded and required WD40 to prevent another sieze up. It was really good at frothing the milk with the wand until now. Two rounds to get the milk up to temp but not enough pressure to make a good froth. We have tried to use the ground coffee function and decided that is a waste of time and good coffee. Looks like we are back to the espresso on the stove for a while. Would expect an expensive machine to last a bit longer when it only does at the most 10 coffees a day.
